In Tea Basics
My favourite green variety is Xihu Longjing, also known as 'West Lake Dragon Well' tea. This tea comes from the Meijiawu Village (first-grade producing zone) in the Zhejiang Province in the eastern coastal area of China. Longjing is one of the best and finest Chinese green teas, known for its flat-leaf appearance, jade green colour, silky texture and delicious mellow taste of roasted chestnuts. It also has a very high concentration of catechins, vitamin C and amino acids. Only drawback is that it can be quite expensive, but it is definitely worth the price.
